Oparex™ Aurora Opal Copper Pendant.
A one of a kind handmade copper pendant featuring a stunning Oparex™ Opal cabochon, chosen for its incredible layered Aurora style play of colour.
This beautiful stone flashes with luminous shades of icy blue, pink, peach, green and soft rainbow tones that shift beautifully as the light moves across the surface.
The cabochon has been individually set by hand in copper using a simple prong style setting, with the wire carefully wrapped around the top of the stone. The back features a detailed woven copper design, adding texture and interest while helping to securely hold the stone in place.
The copper has been hammered and textured, oxidised and then hand polished to bring out the contrast between the darkened recesses and the warm natural tones of the copper.
Every part of this pendant has been handmade by me, making it a completely unique piece.

About Oparex™ Opal
Oparex™ is a high quality manufactured opal material known for its vibrant Aurora/Nebula-style play of colour. It is made using silica and resin and produced in Japan by Kyocera. Its intense colour play gives it a beautiful opalescent appearance while making each piece visually unique.

Care Instructions:
Since this is raw oxidised copper it will continue to develop a beautiful natural patina over time. To maintain the current polish, gently rub with a jewelry polishing cloth (or pad I provided). Avoid wearing in water or exposing to harsh chemicals.
This pendant will come on a brown PU leather cord (18inch) and gift boxed beautifully as a gift to yourself or someone (else) special.
Alternatively if you are interested in purchasing a chain, you can find them in the Chains section of my store. If a chain is purchased I will still include the cord.
