🌙 Mother of Pearl Protection Pendant.

A one of a kind handmade copper wire wrapped Mother of Pearl pendant, measuring approximately 40mm and finished with a coordinating chain.

Mother of Pearl, also known as nacre, is treasured for its luminous, shifting iridescence. As the light moves across the surface, beautiful flashes of gold, green, pink and soft rainbow tones appear, making every piece naturally unique. 

In crystal and spiritual traditions, Mother of Pearl is associated with protection, calm, emotional balance and intuition. Its connection to the ocean and the protective shell from which it comes has also given it strong symbolism of nurturing, feminine energy and gentle strength. 

Mother of Pearl is often viewed as a reminder that strength doesn’t always have to be loud,  sometimes it can be soft, calm and quietly protective.

Each piece of Mother of Pearl has its own natural pattern and flashes, meaning no two pendants will ever be exactly alike.

Care Instructions:

Since this is raw oxidised copper it will continue to develop a beautiful natural patina over time. To maintain the current polish, gently rub with a jewelry polishing cloth (or pad I provided). Avoid wearing in water or exposing to harsh chemicals.

Mother of Pearl is a relatively delicate natural material. Avoid perfumes, chemicals, prolonged water exposure and contact with harder jewellery. Gently wipe with a soft cloth after wearing.
