🕷️ The Web Weaver – Rainbow Labradorite Spider Pendant.
Caught in a web of magic, woven with intention, and guarded by the spider.
A little magic spun into copper… 🕸️✨
This one of a kind pendant features a beautiful natural Labradorite cabochon displaying mesmerising flashes of violet, purple and electric blue, with hints of rainbow colour that come alive as the stone catches the light.
I’ve hand wrapped the stone in raw copper, creating an intricate spider web that stretches across the surface of the Labradorite. At its centre sits a little wire wrapped spider, complete with an iridescent rainbow body that catches the eye against the darker copper.
The combination of the colourful Labradorite, sculpted copper web and tiny spider gives this piece a dark, mystical character, perfect for anyone drawn to gothic jewellery, witchy aesthetics and the symbolism of nature.
Every strand of copper has been shaped by hand, making this a unique creation with its own character and personality. No two handmade wraps are ever exactly alike.
🌙 Labradorite – The Stone of Magic and Transformation
Labradorite is often called the Stone of Magic and is traditionally associated with intuition, transformation and spiritual protection.
Its flashes of colour, known as labradorescence, appear almost otherworldly, revealing hidden colours beneath the stone’s darker surface.
In crystal healing traditions, Labradorite is believed to:
✨ Encourage intuition – associated with trusting your instincts and listening to your inner voice.
🛡️ Offer spiritual protection – traditionally used as a symbolic shield against negativity and unwanted energies.
🌌 Support transformation – connected with personal growth, change and embracing new beginnings.
🔮 Awaken creativity – associated with imagination, inspiration and exploring your own unique path.
These are traditional spiritual beliefs rather than scientifically established effects, but they add to the special meaning many people find in Labradorite.
🕷️ The Spider – Weaver of Fate and Guardian of the Web
Spiders have fascinated people throughout history, appearing in folklore and mythology as creators, tricksters, protectors and weavers of destiny.
Their intricate webs can symbolise the interconnectedness of life, patience, creativity and the power of building something beautiful strand by strand.
In some folklore traditions, spiders are also associated with good fortune and protection of the home.
Just as a spider carefully weaves its web, we weave our own lives through the choices we make, the connections we form and the paths we follow.
This little spider serves as a reminder of your own creative power, resilience and ability to shape your destiny.
Paired with Labradorite’s traditional associations with protection and transformation, this pendant becomes more than an unusual piece of jewellery. It is a wearable symbol of intuition, creativity and the magic found in the natural world.
And with Halloween approaching, its mysterious spider-web design makes it a perfect piece for anyone who loves a little everyday witchcraft. 🖤
